A Turkey Dinner Filled With Funny Animal Memes We Saved to Avoid Awkward Small Talk at the Thanksgiving Table

As much we woofing love Thanksgiving, we could do without all of the family members gathered and sitting around a too-tight table. We just know we're going to be seated next to our great-aunt Carol, whom we haven't seen in 10+ years and still pinches our cheeks when she sees us (we're over 30 years old). And that's just the beginning of the night. As the drinks flow and the bellies get stuffed, we more and more wish we could trade places with our family dog, who happily stays under the table, snatching up crumbs faster than a cat with zoomies at 3 AM.

But don't worry, we've been pawsitively preparing for this for months now.     Of all of the love languages, gift-giving is the one we relate to the least. We do it because we have to, not because we like to (but that's just us). You want breakfast in bed? Done. Need us to fix something for you? The joke's on you, we already did it yesterday. But gifts? Not our jam, mam.
